Spoken word Wedneday: Pobblebonking by Maureen Clifford

This week’s piece is an excellent example of Australian bush poetry.  It describes one of the unique frogs that live in the Eastern states.  Maureen’s reading underplays the strict meter that most bush verse follows, and the pleasant soundtrack adds a naive sweetness to the poem.
